tier three : postpartum pampering

$2500

Hey there, little warrior. We see you. We know you see the true value of rest, the joy of taking space, the beauty in the breakdown. You know it is in those moments that we do the most healing. Choosing this tier is choosing to invest in your future self, as the time after baby comes is one of the most sacred you will ever experience. So often we lose ourselves in that time though, in the chaos and excitement, in the joy and in the grief, in the blinding brights and the darkest darks. We are here to keep you grounded, to help bring you back to your self, to witness your reclamation. We offer four modules for prenatal coaching at this tier, including Getting Acquainted With Truth, Pleasure & Intimacy, Silence, & Birth/Feral Priestess, and thirty-two hours of postpartum care, used in either two, four, or eight-hour overnight nanny shifts at your discretion. We will start our journey together by cooking a meal either in one of our homes or in yours!

We are so proud to be part of this new chapter of your life. There is truly no higher honor. Thank you.

Prenatal Care : Twelve hours

getting acquainted with truth/getting to know each other

This module is an opportunity to examine where you are right now. The radical truth of where you are right now, without the veils. What are you avoiding? What are you celebrating? How is your relationship with your partner? Your friends? Your self? We focus on reflection laced with grace, not only for yourself but for the generations that came before you, whose burden you may still be holding onto. This is a practice of recognizing what is ours and bravely reclaiming it. This is also a practice of letting go of what isn’t. We will use this time to get to know each other better as well, starting with our meal, complete with all the icebreakers and maybe even a game of cribbage.

pleasure and intimacy

Here we will confront our limiting beliefs around pleasure and intimacy, with our partner and with our self. We will explore the relationship between sex and birth, and between pain and pleasure, about how getting personal with our pleasure can better help us understand and manage our pain. We will invite you to develop (or cultivate) your own pleasure practice and to take agency over your pleasure, with exercises in sexuality and sensuality in addition to introducing you to resources to help you expand your partnership and reconnect to your own source.

silence

As birth gets nearer, the desire to go inward becomes louder. We want you to answer this call and get intimate with silence. If we want a life of ease, we have to work on creating space for it. Ideas of “productivity” and constant media influx take up a lot of space. We may invite you to take a walk without your phone and challenge you to get curious about what comes up. Or we may ask you to meditate, journal, or do a yoga nidra or restorative yoga session. Just allowing opportunities to invite some stillness in.

birth/feral priestess

For the final module, we will focus on preparation for the miracle marathon of birth. We will walk with you through the uncertainty of this next step and help you confront your fears with radical honesty and deep reverence. We will also introduce you to the basics of newborn care. We will work on rhythm, ritual, and relaxation, in addition to providing you with resources like vaginal steaming, Spinning Babies, Yoga Nidra, books, other professionals in the field, and many more tools for preparation and peace of mind. We will encourage you to build a system of support for both labor and postpartum during this module, as well as a mandatory meeting with your birth team to discuss your plan and preferences and to get acquainted with one another.

Postpartum Care : Thirty-two hours

space, place, grace

Space means allowing yourself time to land in this new phase of life. This is a time of deep rest and reconnection. Space looks like a place, a container, to both celebrate what you have been given and grieve what you no longer have. We believe it is because of that grief, not in spite of it, that this space demands grace. Grace for yourself, for your body, for your partner and other children, and even for your baby. We want to hold you through this, as gently or as firmly as you need.

We are passionate about honoring the first forty days postpartum, believed in Traditional Chinese Medicine to be an integral time to replenish, nourish and adjust to life, the new one both you and baby are experiencing. These forty days will shape your next forty years. In many cultures, this practice is commonplace, with the birther’s own mother and relatives moving in to help with the new baby, household duties, and cooking while they heal from the transformation they have undergone, both physically, mentally, and emotionally. We want to support you in this same way. We want to take care of all the little things so you have an opportunity to bond with baby, reconnect with your partner, have quality time with other children, and reintegrate back into your self. This care includes laundry, dishes, chores, light household cleaning, food preparation, and time with baby, even nighttime nanny duties. Up to two weeks of postpartum meals will be dropped off at this tier as well as homemade sitz baths for healing and body oils for nourishing.

We should never underestimate the power of connection, of shared experience, of being heard. We offer a listening ear, a shoulder to cry on, a place to express your anger and hurt, all without any judgement or hurt feelings. We will empathize with you and hold you with gentle reverence, not just because this will inform us about how to give you the right kind of nourishment, encouragement, and love, but also because the joy of human connection, the freedom of being fully seen, will fill your soul up, as well as ours.

We will also invite you to dig a little deeper, with journaling prompts to help you navigate difficult emotions, meditation sessions to help find and maintain your inner peace, and other easy-to-implement practices to bring you back to your self, the one that never leaves, the one that always knows. There are also six one-hour sessions of restorative yoga sessions included at this tier which can be used before or after baby comes. This is a time of rest and healing and, as such, will be very fluid so you can be held in the most supportive way for you.
